Dr. Alecia Mobley will join St. Louis Park Public Schools as the new assistant superintendent. This is a new position that will oversee the development and implementation of all teaching and learning functions and provide supervision and professional development of staff.
“I eagerly look forward to working alongside Dr. Mobley,” said Dr. Carlondrea Hines, superintendent. “Her experiences and wealth of skills will add value to our transformational work which will accelerate academic achievement. After working in three different educational systems, she brings a lens of alignment to ensure we are developing each student to be racially conscious academic scholars who will be prepared for our continual shifting society.”
Dr. Mobley has served as the director of special education for Richfield Public Schools since 2020, and she has nearly 15 years of experience working in education from Roseville Area Schools and St. Paul Public Schools.

I am honored and humbled to be selected as the assistant superintendent for SLP. To be a part of the legacy of success and of future transformation is an honor.”
Dr. Mobley earned her Doctor of Education Administration (Ed.D.) from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Public Health from Florida A&M University. She also received her undergraduate degree in occupational therapy from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
Dr. Mobley will start in St. Louis Park Public Schools on July 1, 2024.
